Most people will spend the largest portion of their lives working, so it is important to find a good fit when choosing a career.

Sue Graham provides focused individual career guidance, in the form of a personal consultation and conversation. Sue will work with you, providing insights into the different types of roles there are in your field of interest. From there you can identify which skills and qualifications you may need to get there. Sue can also provide relevant information on the latest career trends and scope of jobs in Dunedin.

Attend a Career Workshop

CareerWise runs career workshops by arrangement, often through third-party initiatives like MBIE or MSD. A career workshop provides a framework for thinking about and discussing ideas in a group setting with others at similar stages. Workshops include purpose-built learning content that focuses on equipping you with the tools you need to build a clear vision that will propel you forward in the right direction to achieve your goals.

Workshops are generally themed to focus on a particular area of career advice. These include choosing a career path, starting or returning to work, or transitioning from a job into business or semi-retirement.

What our clients say about CareerWise

I wanted to thank you again for today.  I found the content so inspiring and motivating.  Lots to mull over!  Great to talk to others in a similar stage of their lives/careers. Having the course material contained in the booklet is so helpful – I can refer to it and complete the tasks at leisure.

Thanks also for being such a great support and sounding board –your willingness to listen without judgment has been greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much for your time spent with Ben this morning. He rang me as soon as he had finished talking to you and he was very happy and enthusiastic. I think he felt reassured that he was on the right track with his CV and his plans for trying to get work experience/holiday work in the near future. Your advice and encouragement was exactly what he needed to give him the confidence to take the next step.
